    SYDNEY, 4 December 2024:

    Tyndall Asset Management (Tyndall AM), one of Australia’s largest and most experienced Australian equity investment teams, today announces that after 23 years at Tyndall AM, Brad Potter, Head of Australian Equities has announced his retirement from the business.

    Tim Johnston (currently Deputy Head of Australian Equities) has been named Head of Australian Equities, with overall responsibility for leading the Tyndall AM franchise and its 10-person investment team. Having joined Tyndall AM in 1997, Tim has 27 years’ investing experience, and most recently has been central to the launch of the Tyndall Australian Small Companies Fund which has returned 18.33% (before fees) since its inception in March 2023, outperforming its benchmark by 6.12%.

    Tim will also become Co-Portfolio Manager for Tyndall AM’s flagship large cap strategy alongside existing Co-Portfolio Manager Jason Kim.

    Brad Potter commented:

    “Tyndall has been part of the Australian investment landscape for over 35 years and I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved in my tenure. I have loved leading this team and wish Tim and the team every success for the future.”

    Tim Johnston added:
